Alten8 announces Eternity's Child

Mobile phone exclusive from Luc Bernard

Mobile games and content publisher Alten8 has announced that it has secured the exclusive worldwide rights to the first mobile phone game featuring Luc Bernard's Eternity's Child universe.

Working closely with the fantasy realm's creator, Alten8 will be publishing and distributing the first mobile game, which will serve as an addition to the existing Xbox Live version and alternative games currently in development for various platforms.

Set in a fictional universe with similarities to the worlds created by Terry Pratchett in his Disc World series, Eternity's Child places gamers in the humble shoes of Angel, an orphan who has had his wings cut off to save him from being condemned to death as a demon.

Befriended by the Professor, who has guided him since birth, Angel sets out to escape the orphanage and explore the strange and dangerous world outside, in search of his missing friend and mentor. Along the way, he'll have to face and defeat a number of strange enemies, and mechanical creatures who plague the mythical land.

Eternity's Child will initially be available on a range of 200 Java handsets, with additional compatibility and an enhanced Symbian version in production. The new game marks the latest in a series of worldwide exclusive titles that Alten8 will be publishing, as the company continues its rapid expansion and growth in the mobile space.
