AlienPants launches games hints service on T-Mobile
Premium SMS service now available on WAP portal
AlienPants has announced that GTIP, the company's premium SMS hints, tips and cheats service, is now available via WAP on T-Mobile's dedicated games portal, T-Zones.
Customers can browse T-Mobile's games portal, following the WAP link to access GTIP and pose a game related question using a standard WAP text entry field. A dedicated AlienPants Cheat Master will then respond directly to the question via return SMS, typically within five-ten minutes of receipt of the question.
Tom Gordon, CEO of AlienPants, stated: "Since launching in 2003, the GTIP service has proven itself to be extremely popular with game players. Launching the WAP version on T-Mobile is extremely exciting. We are providing the ease of use of the GTIP service direct to T-Mobile customers. Game players will no longer need to remember a keyword or shortcode, they can simply bookmark the WAP site on their phone."
GTIP is a dedicated game information service, designed to provide accurate, concise and relevant hints, cheats, tips and codes for all videogames, regardless of the question posed, the game, or the platform in question.
"The beauty of the system is its simplicity," Gordon added. "As the service is a mobile service, customers are able to use GTIP from anywhere and from any phone that supports WAP and Short Messaging. They don't need to connect to the Internet or call a telephone number. They just pause the game they are playing, send in their question, and the answer will come straight back to their phone. "
The standard AlienPants' GTIP hints service is currently supported by Orange, O2, T-Mobile, Vodafone and Virgin Mobile. It is also available as a white label support service for publishers, games magazines or any other interested parties wishing to provide videogame hints and cheats with consistent, live customer support.
