AJ Redmer Joins WildTangent as Executive Vice President of WildTangent Studios

Senior Microsoft games developer joins to lead WildTangent Studios into new era of growth, innovation and next generation gaming

Redmond, WA. November 20th, 2006 - WildTangent, the leading online Games Network, expanded its team today by announcing the appointment of AJ Redmer to Executive Vice President of WildTangent Studios. AJ joins WildTangent from Microsoft Game Studios where he was most recently General Manager of Microsoft Game Studios Asia.

A game industry veteran, AJ has over 20 years of experience working for leading gaming companies. During his seven years at Microsoft he oversaw the development and publishing of Microsoft branded entertainment products for Windows, Xbox and Xbox 360, where he was part of the original team that created the leading gaming platform. Prior to that, he was Director of Game Design at Nintendo Software Technology and Director of Development at Lucasfilm Games working on global franchise games including Indiana Jones and Star Wars. AJ was also a founder of Maxis where he worked on the original Sim City.
