Introducing one of Christie's Most Beloved Characters, Miss Jane Marple, in her first starring role in a video game
NEW YORK & LONDON - June 17, 2010 - I-play, Oberon Media's publishing division and the world's leading multi-platform casual games publisher, has again worked with Interactive Rights Management (IRM) and Agatha Christie Ltd to create Agatha Christie 4:50 from Paddington which is available for PC download from today. Inviting players to pack their bags for murder and travel to the English countryside for a thrilling and mysterious adventure, Agatha Christie 4:50 from Paddington is the fourth in the wildly popular Agatha Christie game series that has generated more than 30 million downloads since it first launched in 2007. In addition to the stunning settings and edge-of-your-seat storylines that fans have come to love, 4:50 from Paddington introduces one of the Queen of Crime's most beloved characters, Miss Jane Marple, to interactive gamers for the very first time. "We're thrilled to be launching the first Miss Marple mystery in the Agatha Christie series and look forward to fans exploring this latest adventure with Agatha Christie's other famous detective!" commented Megan Goodwin-Patel, Joint Managing Director of IRM and Mathew Prichard, Chairman of Agatha Christie Ltd and Agatha Christie's grandson.
In Agatha Christie 4:50 from Paddington, fans step right into the story as they travel the English countryside and witness a frightful murder through the window of a passing train. With little evidence, players must team up with expert sleuth Miss Marple to investigate an English country estate, uncover critical evidence in London, and solve perplexing puzzles in Paris to find out what happened that fateful night. The game features all-new mini-games, hours of original hidden object and light adventure fun, and new game play modes including the Find All mode, challenging even the most advanced sleuths.
