Adventure Game Experts Vote ANACONDA Titles Most Awaited in 2007
Hamburg/Germany: March 28, 2007 - A jury consisting of the most important adventure game editors of the world has crowned three ANACONDA adventure games as 2007's most awaited.
Hosted by Italian adventure gaming magazine adventuresplanet.it, the editors from around the world - including Jack Allin (Editor-in-Chief, Adventuregamers.com, USA), Marion Alter (Adventure Archiv, Germany), Josselin Courant (Sanctuaire de l'Aventure, France), Matthias Mangelsdorf (Editor-in-Chief, Adventure Corner, Deutschland), Laura McDonald, Gabriel Sanmartin (Aventura y CÍA, Spain), Michael Schachinger (Editor-in-Chief, Adventure Europe, Germany), Jan Schneider (Editor-in-Chief Adventure-Treff, Germany), Rodrigo Steinmann (La Aventura es la Aventura, Spain), Aurelien Vandoorine (Editor-in-Chief, Adventure Europe, France), Becky Waxman (Gameboomers.com, USA) and others - chose 2007's most awaited adventure games as part of the 2006 Adventure Game Awards.
ANACONDA adventure games occupy the first three spots: first place went to Gray Matter, the new adventure game from Jane Jensen. "The first things we discovered at the last Games Convention during her press conference look very interesting, [Gray Matter] is definitely a game to follow carefully," explained Aureline Vandoorine from Adventure Europe France. The release date for Gray Matter was moved to Q1/2008 only after the voting had already closed.
Runaway 2, already released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland by ANACONDA last year, took second place.
Following in third place: Overclocked, the new adventure game from developer House of Tales. "Overclocked [] is a very promising adventure title, which I expect to deliver a new experience in adventure gaming," commented Michael Schachinger, Editor-in-Chief of Adventure Europe Germany. ANACONDA will publish Overclocked worldwide- starting with Germany, Austria and Switzerland in October 2007.
