AdCell launches enhanced mobile advertising technology platform
Java, Brew and WAP support now available to advertisers and developers
Mobile advertising technology provider AdCell Media has announced the launch of its third generation of wireless advertising insertion technology, which is designed to let advertisers launch a targeted campaign within as little as 30 days.
AdCell pioneered the insertion of targeted contextually relevant advertising on the mobile platform with MauiGames' Mountain Biking title back in 2004.
Since then, the company has worked to refine and enhance its technology platform in a bid to provide a broader and more comprehensive set of tools for the support of targeted ads on Java, Brew and WAP-enabled handsets.
David Fradin, AdCell Media's president, commented: "Mobile Advertising is just starting in a big way. AdCell Media is pleased to be in the forefront with superior and proven mobile ad insertion technology."
"We are pretty excited about the new capabilities of release 3.0 of our Ad-In SDK. Advertisers can now launch a targeted ad campaign to cell phone consumers that carefully match their message to their targeted consumer using appropriate content and sophisticated in-context ads," he added.
AdCell's technology platform is designed to enable fast, simple and straightforward insertion of targeted ads - available for games, applications and mobile video - in less than a day.
Amp'd Mobile will use the platform to deliver targeted ads in its soon to be released family of exercise videos, and MauiGames will use the technology to promote the Maui Visitors Bureau and Kaanapali Golf Course in its forthcoming mobile golf title.
