El Cerrito, CA – September 20th, 2010 – Ace Attack, the first title from BitFlip Games is now available in the iTunes App Store. Ace Attack allows players to simulate the classic card game War on their iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The casual title also lets players battle for worldwide rank on online leaderboards.

“We wanted to make something that people can play for 30 seconds while waiting for the bus or for 30 minutes while relaxing on the couch,” said Delaney Gillilan, Lead Artist. “We put a lot of effort into art, animation, and sound so when you fight a war there's a lot going on for the player to take in.”

Besides a bevy of military units that do battle on a field of cards, Ace Attack boasts online leaderboards, a ranking system, and over 25 achievements. Between the three systems, players can compete in any number of categories for rank and prestige in the online community.

“We also wanted Ace Attack to appeal to military buffs,” Said Executive Producer David Steinwedel, “Those in the know will have a fun time identifying units and weapons based on those used by armies around the world.”
