ABIT Introduces Guru Panel
The Ultimate Motherboard Accessory for Gamers
May 11, 2005 - Today ABIT is pleased to announce its latest innovation, the Guru Panel. A feature rich device designed to give gamers rapid and unrestricted access to all the features they are ever likely to require during the heat of battle. Everything from hardware monitoring to overclocking can be controlled through this module without the need to enter the main screen. There's even an option to clear the CMOS memory should the need arise.
The Guru Panel is much more than a multimedia device, it's a gamer's best friend. While immersed in their favourite game, the Guru Panel is hard at work monitoring hardware, looking out for new emails, generally ensuring gamers stay up to date with what's going on around them.
Instant OC
Instant Overclocking gives Guru Panel users direct access to pre-set overclocking levels without the disruption of having to enter any OC utilities. Now gamers have the best of both worlds, uninterrupted access to both factory and user defined overclock settings without the need to leave the game they're playing.
Hardware Monitoring
The Guru Panel collects a wealth of information, the N/B temperature, CPU fan speed, memory voltage, even the time and room temperature don't escape its watchful eye.
CMOS Memory Clearing
This unique feature allows users to clear the CMOS memory without the inconvenience of having to enter the system's case. A clearly labeled flap protects the button against accidental operation.
LCD Screen
The 6 x 3.4cm LCD Screen is clearly laid out, making monitoring the easiest of tasks.
1: CPU Speed
Displays OC level/Autodrive
2: Current Time
Displays time in 12 or 24-hour format
3: Temperature
Displays CPU, VGA, PWM, SYS and Room
4: Fan Speed
Displays CPU, SYS, NB, VGA, AUX1, AUX2 and OTES
5: Notification
Displays (Blinks) E-Mail, MSN, Warning, Reserved
6: Frequency/Voltage
Displays CPU, DDR, AGP, PCIe, FM, CH and VRAM
LCD Backlight
The 5-phase backlight feature gives Guru Panel users the option to choose from 5 different lighting levels, for improved visibility of the LCD display.
AV Interface
The provision of two audio and three high-speed connectors means the Guru Panel is capable of supporting most of the consumer multimedia peripherals available today.
Installation
Slide the Guru Panel in a vacant 5.25" drive bay, secure it, run and connect the cables to the motherboard, load the software. That's it, it really is that easy to install.
Compatibility
The Guru Panel is compatible with the ABIT Fatal1ty AN8 and Fatal1ty AN8 SLI motherboards.
