A SAINT FOR SINNERS
Being Bad Is The New Being Good, As Digital Jesters Signs 7 Sins – A New Concept In Risqué Gaming
Britsoft publisher Digital Jesters is branching out into the world of risqué gaming as the firm announces it has pinched the UK rights to saucy new title 7 Sins from Monte Cristo. 7 Sins will be released for the PC and PlayStation 2 in May 2005.
The game, set in the hedonistic haven of Apple City, allows players to immerse themselves in the world of sex, celebrity and greed as they compete in a series of risqué and adult challenges in order to climb their way up the social and economical ranks of the neon-drenched metropolis.
Throughout seven distinctive chapters, players will need to carefully build the right relationships with the city's many flamboyant characters and indulge in each of the classic Seven Sins. By finding the right balance for their rampant emotions and conquering a series of fun-filled mini-games, players can manipulate, cajole, seduce and backstab their way through the city.
"7 Sin's unique graphical style, close-to-the-bone humour and outrageous characters and settings make this a rare and original gem," says Terry Malham, Commercial Director, Digital Jesters. "Not only does the game bolster Digital Jesters' 2005 portfolio, but it takes us into areas we have never been before, marking not only our first release for the more mature player, but also our entrance into the console market."
7 Sins has been developed and produced by Monte Cristo and will be released in the UK by Digital Jesters in May 2005 on PC-CD ROM and PlayStation 2, priced £19.99 and £29.99 respectively.

About Digital Jesters
Founded in 2003, Digital Jesters is a British-based publisher of computer and video games. Set up by the duo responsible for launching and establishing the Sudden Strike and Cossacks series of games in the UK, the firm's remit is simple: to source and publish the best games available. The company's commitment to originality resulting in it snapping up the original TrackMania game from French developer Nadeo and DJ's ethos of community development strategy resulted in the game becoming one of the sleeper hits of the year. A tie-in with record-breaking yachtswoman Ellen Macarthur for the firm's second release Virtual Skipper 3 ensured the game received widespread attention among the elusive non-gamer, and firmly placed the publisher on the map. The firm has enjoyed four top 10 PC hits, three of which are from the developers Cyanide, creators of Pro Rugby Manager and now DJ is expanding its operation to cover additional territories. It has also published its own comic book to widespread critical acclaim. For additional information on Digital Jesters, please visit www.digitaljesters.com
