Saitek has launched a new keyboard for PC users specifically designed to enhance their enjoyment of PC games.
The Saitek PC Gaming Keyboard features the standard 104 keys found on any PC keyboard, with additional buttons for sound volume control and to adjust the backlighting to full, low and off. It also includes an additional 9-key command pad which is programmable through Saitek Smart Technology (SST) software to allow full customisation of buttons for use in games of all genres. Up to 27 multi-key or multi-action macros can be programmed to a single button press to gain the ultimate gaming advantage - ideal as a stand alone device in Real Time Strategy games.
Stylish and modern, the Saitek PC Gaming Keyboard combines stunning design with functionality, adjustability and programmability. The Saitek PC Gaming Keyboard is solidly built, finished in an attractive brushed silver outer casing with large area rubber feet to keep it firmly planted to the desk. Smooth, cushioned action keys are backlit by blue LEDs for improved visibility of controls in darkened PC gaming rooms and a 3-position, extendable wrist rest offers optimum support.
"Using a standard PC keyboard, the number of commands required by modern PC games often means your hands have to be all over the place", says Paul Millar, Sales Director, Saitek. "Thanks to the PC Gaming Keyboard command pad, players can now configure games in such a way that they never need to take their hands off those nine keys. The command pad is just one of the features that makes the Gaming Keyboard absolutely essential for any serious PC gamer."
With its solid action, sleek design and programmable functionality, the Saitek Gaming Keyboard represents yet another great advance in PC gaming peripherals. It is available to buy in February, priced £39.99.
