Join Suzanne as she takes listeners through the classic Dickens tale with Ebenezer Scrooge on his magical journey of discovery in the games storybook mode. Suzanne will also be demoing the gameplay of puzzles, carol singing and festive recipes in a title that promises hours of yuletide entertainment.

Location – Hamleys Regent Street, GAME area

Date – 1st November 2009

Time – 1pm-3pm

The A Christmas Carol videogame lets you meet classic favourite characters including Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, Mr Fezziwig, Marley and the three spirits of Christmas, and watch beautifully animated cut-scenes that unfold like a storybook. Manipulate Scrooge’s environments as you guide him though a supernatural adventure. Blow and shout into the DS microphone and use the stylus to pull, drag, shake, rattle and tap Scrooge’s world to influence gameplay and help you progress through the dark and mysterious worlds of Christmas past, present and future.

In addition to the story mode there are over 10 single-player mini-games plus a ‘pass the DS’ multiplayer game for fun with friends and family.

Bonus extras include a real-time advent calendar, which allows you to unlock surprises each day that you play leading up to Christmas. There are also song sheets of favourite Christmas carols and traditional Victorian cooking recipes offer an added taste of the festive season.

Disney Interactive Studios’, A Christmas Carol is available to buy on Nintendo DS from 6th November 2009.
