8-bit software at pocket money prices!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Butterwick, Boston, Lincs. UK - Jan 26 2005 - Cronosoft (www.cronosoft.co.uk) are a dedicated software publishing house supporting the growing classic and retro computing scene, are on the verge of releasing two quality games for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum and Commodore Vic 20.
Higgledy Piggledy (ZX Spectrum), written by Jonathan Cauldwell, is a platform/puzzle game in which you must guide the intergalactic piggies to market so that they can be turned into bacon butties! The game features two layers of multi-directional pixel-by-pixel scrolling, great graphics and hardly any colour attribute clash. It is a true marvle of programming perfection, and fits into a 48Kb machine.
Astro Nell (Commodore Vic 20), written by Matt Simmonds, is inspired by Mat Smith's Spectrum classic Jet Set Willy. Nell has crash landed on a strage planet and has suffered loss of fuel cells. Luckily, these cells are strewn around this world for him to collect. It is a screen-by-screen platform affair, fitting into an unexpanded Vic 20, and has over a dozen screens and 88 items to collect.
