5th Annual Horizon Interactive Awards Opens Call For Entries

A prestigious interactive media competition for designers and developers worldwide.

Indianapolis, IN - (October 1, 2005) On the heels of the 2005 winner's announcement and the most competitive entry field to date, the Horizon Interactive Awards announces the 2006 call for entries.

Uniquely focused on interactive media, the Horizon Interactive Awards recognizes outstanding work in the field of interactive media including: web sites, cd-roms, dvds, video, kiosks, online ads, and games. The deadline to enter the 2006 awards is January 31, 2006 and may be done online at http://www.horizoninteractiveawards.com.

"Because interactive media has become a huge part in how we live, it is important to showcase those who produce it well," said Mike Sauce, president of the Horizon Interactive Awards. "The competition provides a level playing field for all entrants regardless of the project budget. Our awards seek out quality solutions from both a visual perspective and a clear communication of a message."

The Horizon Interactive Awards showcases talent from all over the globe. The 2005 competition saw hundreds of entries from nearly all 50 U.S. States, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Japan, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, South Africa, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Best of show went to a fascinating animated DVD novel titled "Broken Saints," produced by Budget Monks Productions (Canada). Winners for the 2006 competition will be announced in early April.
