2K Sports Announces New Premium Downloadable Content for Best-Selling Major League Baseball®2K7 on Xbox Live Marketplace

Historic Stadiums, Signature Style Animations and Officially Scanned Facial Models for Favorite Japanese Players Now Available for Download

Today publisher 2K Sports proudly announces the release of new premium downloadable content on Xbox Live® Marketplace for its top-selling baseball title, Major League Baseball®2K7. Baseball fans can now experience the thrill of playing America's pastime in authentic recreations some of America's famed historic stadiums in Major League Baseball 2K7 for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system. This latest content addition includes six legendary ballparks from the late nineteenth to mid-twentieth centuries, including Sportsman's Park, Forbes Field, Griffith Stadium, Shibe Park, the Polo Grounds, and Crosley Field.

Each vintage stadium is recreated with incredible realism and showcases the unique features of each field. From the famously deep centerfield of the Polo Grounds to the notorious "spite wall" of Shibe Park, each historic playing field offers players a one-of-a-kind chance to relive a part of baseball's storied past. These historic stadiums are available to purchase in pairs of two for the low price of just 300 Microsoft points, or as a complete set of six ballparks for just 800 points.

Also available on Xbox Live Marketplace is a FREE download for Major League Baseball 2K7 featuring Olympic Stadium, former home of the Montréal Expos, as well as Signature Style animations for a myriad of players, updated facial scans for players such as Norma Garciaparra, Victor Martinez and Hideki Okajima and a few uniform updates.
