2K Sports Announces Fan-Selected Finalists For Amped 3 Official CD Soundtrack

NEW YORK, NY - October 25, 2005 - 2K Sports, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., today announced the 20 semifinalists in the Amplifier Challenge contest. The Amplifier Challenge allowed fans to choose the bands they want to appear on the Amped 3 Official CD Soundtrack and, starting today, Amped 3 fans can vote for one of the bands to win $10,000 and send them to play at the South by Southwest music festival next spring. The Amped 3 Soundtrack will be available in November as a pre-sell promotional item at major retailers and at 2K Sports events.

The second phase of the Amplifier Challenge will kick off today, with Amped 3 fans logging onto the official Amped 3 web site (www.Ampedsnowboarding.com). On the site they can listen to the 20 tracks featured on the Amped 3 Soundtrack and vote for their favorite. The band that receives the highest average fan rating will win $10,000 and a coveted slot at the revered and influential South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas in March 2006.
