The ELAN Awards' mandate is to have every video game talent in the world know about them this year and they have launched a contest today which will award the top four people who help them achieve their goal. First prize is the package already described above which goes to the contestant who spreads the word the most; Second Prize is two tickets to the Awards Night which includes the Champagne Reception, the Awards Dinner and Ceremony and the After-Party; Third Prize is two tickets to the surrounding parties which includes the Pool Party, the Street Party and the After-Party; Fourth Prize is two tickets to the Street Party, "Nomination Celebration-in-the-Streets".
It's easy to enter: Sign up for the ELANS Video Game Industry List if you're not already on it and get all of your industry friends and co-workers to sign up too. They simply fill in your name as their referrer under Contestant's First & Last Name and they're credited to your total. They can even go on to compete themselves by then having all of their friends enter, a process which repeats itself and is the concept behind getting the word spread around the world about a video game awards show being built just for them.
"This list is totally confidential and you must be a video game professional or associated to the video game industry professionally in order to sign up," says Holly Carinci, Founder and CEO. "No one's trying to sell anyone anything," she continues with a smile, "We don't have even one single advertiser."
