2009 International CES

Registration open, and a call for speakers.

FOR RELEASE

Arlington, Va., June 23, 2008 – The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® today announced that registration for industry professionals is now live for the 2009 International CES®, the world’s largest tradeshow for consumer technology and America’s largest tradeshow of any kind. Now in its 42nd year, the 2009 International CES will run January 8-11, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Attendees and press are encouraged to visit the newly redesigned CESweb.org to register for the 2009 International CES. Registration information can be found here: registration.experient-inc.com/ShowCES091/Default.aspx .

CES Speaker proposals can be submitted online at www.CESweb.org/attendees/conferences/speakers/rd_speaker_form.asp and are due by July 11. Because of the number of sessions offered and the need for a balanced program, a limited number of presenters will be accepted. All proposals will be considered based on industry representation, professionalism, prior public speaking experience and relevance to session topic.

The International CES is the launch pad for consumer technology and is an industry-only tradeshow that is not open to the general public. Industry professionals are encouraged to register now to experience the excitement of the newest technology in the consumer electronics industry.
