10TACLE STUDIOS and Electronic Arts to release "Codename: Panzers – Cold War"
The two companies partner for distribution of new real-time strategy game from developer Stormregion
Darmstadt/Köln, September 15th 2006 - Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) and 10TACLE STUDIOS AG today announced a joint distribution agreement for the release of the real-time strategy game "Codename: Panzers - Cold War". Through the partnership, Electronic Arts will distribute the game across Europe, and the Darmstadt-based development firm 10TACLE STUDIOS will take responsibility for marketing and project management. The PC title is due to be released at the end of 2007.
Hungarian developer team Stormregion is creating and developing the successor to the hit title "Codename: Panzers". For the first time ever, the series leaves the World War II stage to take the story into Cold War East-West conflicts fought on fictitious battlefields. The developers have placed special emphasis on deep story lines and rich battle effects.
