1 million players register for free Acclaim title

One million players have downloaded and registered to play Bots!!, Acclaim's free online fighting game.

The game was released for PC last November and for Howard Marks, CEO of Acclaim, the recent milestone justifies the free to play business model.

"One million players says it all, our fans want multiplayer social games using the free to play model," commented Marks.

Acclaim is hosting a special One Million Players event to celebrate, offering Acclaim Coins and and prizes for competing players.
