THQ drops cover art lawsuit against Activision
Dispute over similar artwork resolved as publishers agree to changes
The legal dispute between THQ and Activision-Blizzard over the use of cover art for each company's Baja racing titles has been resolved with the latter publisher assenting to changes in its box art.
The two publisher had clashed over copyright infringement when Activision-Blizzard released SCORE International Baja 1000: The Official Game with box art that shared similarities with THQ's already released title Baja: Edge of Control.
THQ seems to have been appeased by this move and filed paperwork on November 18 withdrawing its lawsuit, as reported by Patent Arcade.
