The popular executive becomes the chief operating officer of Capcom Europe as of April 1, with the remit of exploring new growth areas throughout the region.

"We are very pleased to have secured the services of someone of David’s calibre," offered Hiroshi Tobisawa, President of Capcom Europe. "He brings with him an unprecedented level of industry knowledge and expertise which will be invaluable as we look to grow our European operation."

Reeves was most recently president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, and had spent over 14 years with the company overseeing the launch of the PlayStation 3 console and building offices in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

"I established a close working relationship with Capcom during my time at Sony and have always admired its commitment to push boundaries and develop innovative titles," added Reeves. "It is therefore a real pleasure to now join this organisation and be a part of its future successes."
