PC Zone staff quit Future Publishing

Four team members leave PC title after 200th issue

A number of staff on Future Publishing's long-running PC title PC Zone have decided to quit the publisher.

Editor Will Porter, editor-at-large Jamie Sefton and writer Jonathan Blyth have all left the magazine following the publication of its 200th issue, and join disc editor Ed Zitron who left the magazine earlier this month.

Porter and Blyth are to pursue freelance opportunities, while Sefton is to join games development organisation Game Republic.

"Current Editor Will Porter is still in place while we find a replacement," said James Binns, publishing director of Future's games portfolio.

"PC Zone stalwarts Will Porter and Jonathan Blyth both intend to contribute to PC Zone on a freelance basis and we wish them the best of success".
