NaturalMotion opens Korean office
Morpheme and euphoria maker appoints new territory manager
Middleware developer NaturalMotion has appointed a local territory manager in South Korea, as the company looks to expand the market for its morpheme and euphoria technology.
Former business development manager Mag KW Kim will head the new office and act as the direct point of contact for all developers in the region. She will also represent the company at the upcoming G-Star 2009 event in Busan, South Korea.
"Through innovative design and development, the Korean games industry has become a major player on the international scene", said Andy Payne, NaturalMotion's vice president of sales.
"By establishing a local presence in Korea we can tailor our market approach to suit the Korean culture and language, strengthening our market position. Ms Kim’s experience will prove extremely valuable and I am delighted to welcome her to the team," he added.
NaturalMotion has experienced significant growth recently, with revenues increasing by 80 percent in the first half of the company's financial year. The firm is also currently working on its first internally developed game, named Backbreaker.
