Japanese PS3 sales double
DSi once again dominates the region's hardware sales chart as it increases its lead over Sony's PSP
Sony's PlayStation 3 saw sales more than double that of last week's, coming in at 34,978 units, according to data provided by Media Create.
Meanwhile, the chart was dominated once more by Nintendo's DSi at 87,185 units, a drop of 1658 units from last week but an increase in its lead over Sony's PlayStation Portable, which saw sales drop 6136 units to 55,090.
Nintendo's Wii spiked to 49,848 units, compared to 35,298 units the previous week. DS Lite sales also gained from last week, hitting 26,851 units compared to 18,580.
Microsoft's Xbox 360 sales slumped to 11,423 units, while closing off the chart was the PlayStation 2 at 5628 units.
