GAME chairman sells £2.28m worth of shares

Peter Lewis sells 850,000 ordinary shares following retailers record profits

Peter Lewis, non-executive chairman of High Street retailer GAME, has sold 850,000 ordinary shares in the company, at an average price of 269.23 pence per share.

The sale nets Lewis over GBP 2.28 million, while he continues to hold 66,666 ordinary shares in the company.

In February this year CEO Lisa Morgan and deputy CEO David Thomas sold over 2.4 million shares between them, causing shares to drop over 14 per cent.

Yesterday, the GAME Group reported record profits of GBP 75.5 million, with like-for-like sales up over 41 per cent.
