DSi maintains hardware lead in Japan
But sales numbers continue to track well below 2008 average numbers
Nintendo's DSi continued to lead the weekly hardware sales chart in Japan for the seven days ending June 14, although once again the total number of units sold is still tracking well below the 2008 average.
The DSi shifted almost 37,000 units altogether, while the PlayStation Portable hit nearly 27,000 and the Wii sold over 18,000.
Meanwhile the PlayStation 3 shifted just 10,000, the Xbox 360 sold 8000, the DS Lite over 5000 and the PlayStation 2 almost 3500.
