Bravo Game Studios opens in Spain
New Seville-based indie developer to focus on games for mobile devices
A new development studio by the name of Bravo Game Studios has opened in Seville, Spain and is currently working on its first games for mobile devices.
The studio, which will focus its efforts on devices such as iPhone and PSP, was announced at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The company will be based in Seville with offices in London and Iasi, Romania.
According to the new studio's CEO and founder Jose Miguel Lopez, digital distribution gives the opportunity to develop a new business model that will ensure profitability in the long run.
The company has already secured venture capital funding, with its two main shareholders being Spain's leading mobile solution providers Genera Interactive and Mobivery.
It has also lined up partnerships with international media, license-owners, manufacturers and football clubs, which it says will enable it to develop a strong and diversified line-up of products.
The studio is currently working on its first games, which will be announced shortly.
