Bioshock 2 takes number 1 position in UK chart

Game beats Mass Effect 2 to become biggest release of year so far

Bioshock 2 entered the UK all-formats chart at number one this week with sales exceeding those of last week's number one Mass Effect 2, making it the biggest release of the year so far.

In turn, Mass Effect 2 was knocked down to eigth position with a decrease of 58 per cent in sales.

Ubisoft's Just Dance remained at number two from last week, and FIFA 10 saw a 53 per cent increase in sales elevate it to number three following price promotions at retail.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 slipped from three to four, and Dante's Inferno dropped from four to nine.

Moving in the opposite direction was SEGA's Bayonetta, which rose from 38 to number 10.
