Plus all-new episodes and boxed products dated for retail release

Bethesda has finally confirmed downloadable content for the PlayStation 3 version of Fallout 3, as well as two brand new PS3, Xbox 360 and PC episodes for the best-selling title.

Two new downloadable episodes for Fallout 3 – Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta – will be released for Xbox 360 and PC in June and July, respectively, with releases via Sony's PSN at a later date. The Microsoft releases will cost 800 points.

The first batch of DLC for the PS3 will be Operation: Anchorage in June, with The Pitt and Broken Steel to follow 4-6 weeks apart, although release dates have not yet been set. An update for PS3 users to download and play the content will also be released in time for June.

In addition, Bethesda will also release three new boxed products for retail this year, beginning with Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack 1 which includes The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage for Xbox 360 and PC on June 12. Pack 2 will follow in August bundling Broken Steel and Point Lookout. Both offerings are for 360 or PC only.

Fallout 3 Game of the Year will be available in October for all three formats, and include the game and all five add-ons for GBP 39.99 / EUR 59.99.

To date, Fallout 3 has shipped over 750,000 units in the UK, and 2 million across the entire European region.
