Monster Hunter World retains No.1 in UK chart
UFC 3 debuts at No.2
Monster Hunter World is No.1 in the UK boxed charts for a second week in a row.
It fights off fierce competition from EA's UFC 3, which makes No.2.
Monster Hunter World dropped 46% in unit sales (physical data only) during its second week on the market, which is an impressive performance for a game in its second week. The title hasn't faced much competition in what has been a quiet start to the year, and also will have benefited from strong reviews that came out last week.
The triumvirate of Call of Duty: WWII, FIFA 18 and GTA V make up the rest of the Top Five.
That does mean Dragon Ball Fighterz takes a tumble from No.2 to No.6. There is one other new title in the charts this week in the form of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT for PS4, which debuts at No.9. This is a place higher than the previous best-charting Dissidia title, which was the original PSP game in 2009.
Meanwhile, fresh activity around Super Mario Odyssey sees the Nintendo game jump back into the Top Ten at No.8, one place below Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at No.7.
A significant new release arrives this week in the form of Shadow of the Colossus for PS4. So expect another new game at the top.
