GTA V secures 10th UK #1 - 174 weeks after release
Phenomenal staying power from Rockstar's crime caper
Grand Theft Auto V has recorded a tenth week at the top of the UK retail charts, an incredible 174 weeks after its initial release. The multi-format chart buster, originally released last generation, joins a cadre of just 13 games to have recorded 10 weeks in the premier spot.
Elsewhere, a lack of new releases means it's business as usual, with CoD slipping to second and FIFA to third whilst Battlefield maintains its hold on fourth place. Ongoing retail discounts see Forza 3 keep to fifth after nosing its way back up the charts a little after a few weeks outside the top ten.
Watch Dogs 2 and Steep give Ubisoft two entries in the top ten at sixth and ninth respectively, whilst Mafia II makes another mark for Take 2 at number eight. Rocket league at seventh and a tenth place for Gears 4 round out the top ten.
