GamesIndustry.biz partners with Nordic Game Conference
We'll be curating our very own track at the Malmö show from May 17-19
GamesIndustry.biz, the world's leading online resource for people who make and sell games, is proud to announce a brand new partnership with the Nordic Game Conference in Malmö, where the GamesIndustry.biz editorial team will be curating a speaker track across all three days of the May event. In addition, the companies will be cementing a long standing and mutually beneficial history of editorial ties with extended coverage of, and presence at, the show itself.
Taking place from May 17-19 in Malmö, Sweden, this year's Nordic Game Conference will be the 14th annual gathering of the region's finest developers, publishers and industry pioneers. As well as bringing together the cream of the Scandinavian and European industry, NGC has rapidly extended its reach beyond the local region to every corner of the globe, bringing together speakers and attendees from the highest levels of the worldwide games economy.
Similarly, GamesIndustry.biz has worked hard to broaden its respected media brand to encompass a truly international audience by building its world class editorial team and growing its presence at other Gamer Network events such as EGX and Rezzed. In addition to producing the highest quality writing and analysis, the site is intent on expanding its global footprint even further with its own bespoke events and by forming partnerships with premium industry brands like the Nordic Game Conference.
By joining forces, both companies will be able to offer even more to their respective communities and bring the benefits of both brands to a wider audience.
"Long a staple of the European industry calendar, the Nordic Game Conference offers a premium opportunity to reach the most influential and talented people working in games today," said GamesIndustry.biz European Editor Dan Pearson.
"By collaborating on a speaker track at this year's show, GamesIndustry.biz recognises the impact of the conference and potential of our two industry leading brands to create even more value together. We've worked closely with Erik, Jacob and their team for over a decade, but I'm truly excited about the possibilities facilitated by this closer partnership. "
"We're very excited to announce this expansion of our existing and very strong partnership", Jacob Riis, Program Director at Nordic Game added.
"GamesIndustry.biz has been a media partner for the Nordic Game Conference since 2006, and as Europe's largest industry media brand it has helped us tremendously in growing our event from local to global. The time now is perfect for expanding our cooperation. Can't wait to show the results at NG17."
