PlayStation 3 global sales reach 51.8 million
Sony reveals figures at Tokyo Game Show press conference

Sony's PlayStation 3 has achieved 51.8 million sales worldwide according to the company, speaking at the Tokyo Game Show this morning.
The PlayStation Portable has sold 41.4 million units globally.
In comparison, by June 3 Xbox 360 unit sales stood at 55 million, while the Nintendo DS had sold 147.9 million and the Wii had sold 87.57 million by the end of July.
