Exent launches GameTanium for Android platform

Games on Demand service to give access to over 100 games for flat monthly rate

Games on Demand company Exent has revealed plans to move onto the Android platform, with the expansion of its GameTanium service.

Starting next month users will be able to sign up for a monthly subscription that will give them access to over 100 games, kicking off with a seven-day free trial, with mobile phone platforms initially, and tablet devices to follow.

The expansion will bring the Android platform in-line with its existing offering on PC and TV, and later in the year Exent plans on releasing full cross-platform functionality, allowing gamers to switch gameplay between any and all platforms - PC, TV, phone and tablet - at will.

"Gamers can finally feed their 'app-etites' with unlimited play of the world's best games at their fingertips, no matter where they are," stated Christina Kuzma, CMO of Exent. "We are excited to introduce the GameTanium service on Android.

"As we expand multi-platform support, users will be able to enjoy 24/7 gameplay on virtually any device of their choosing."

Specific details on pricing and those games to be included have yet to be revealed; although Exent's wider service features titles from publishers including Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive and PopCap.
